Rita Ora is back with another new track, and this may well be her fifth UK chart-topper. The singer has teamed up with Chris Brown for her new track ‘Body on Me’, which was released worldwide on the 7th August.
This is Rita’s seventh release as a solo artist in the UK, but it is her debut single attempt in America, ahead of her new album in November.
“On this second album I’ve put my blood in it, literally,” said Rita in a recent press release. “The album was my resurrection. I got myself together. I had amazing people around me. I went back to the drawing board and started writing with them.”
Rita has been busy working on songwriting and collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Prince, Diplo, Dr Luke and, of course, Chris Brown as featured in the new track.
“So this album I wanna be the rock star that I always was,” Rita added. “I have to fight every day. I still have to grind.”
‘Body on Me’ is the follow-up to ‘Poison‘, which reached number three in the UK earlier this year.
Rita must be pretty busy right now as she recently joined the panel of The X Factor in the UK alongside Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw, airing later this year.
